Basketball legend Michael Jordan visited Greece, spending time on the island of Spetses and attending his personal branded event in Athens, titled "The Board of Greatness."
The NBA legend dined at a restaurant in Vouliagmeni with other top league stars, such as Luka Doncic, Carmelo Anthony and Bam Adebayo, and as it turned out, he was very pleased with his experience.
The menu, based on seafood and traditional Greek flavors, was curated by the restaurant's owner and chef, Giorgos Papaioannou. Jordan was reportedly thrilled by the hospitality and experience, and rewarded the restaurant team with a generous tip that will be hard to forget.
The NBA legend left a 10,000 euro tip at the Greek restaurant after giving a speech at the dinner, speaking highly of Greece.
“ Greece is the homeland of the ancient gods, where legendary heroes were born and the concept of greatness began. At a crucial moment, when the future of the Jordan brand is taking shape, we took inspiration from this unique place. Just as when planning the path to greatness, countless hours of perfection are required, this collection was created in Italy, by artisans who accept nothing less than perfection as the end result of their work ,” Jordan said during the dinner.
