The Giro D'Italia is continuing with its stages in Italy, but attention has recently shifted to Naples, where a 67-year-old man with a criminal record crossed the road and tried to hit cyclists.
Just a few kilometers from the finish line, he crossed the fence set up by the police and entered the middle of the athletes, while waving a white flag.
After identification, Italian media reported that the 67-year-old was a pro-Palestinian protester who tried to block the race, just as the Israeli team was passing by.
