The Albanian national basketball team will play against Armenia today in a match valid for the 2027 World Cup pre-qualifiers.
The team under the leadership of Erkand Karaj concluded preparations on Wednesday, with the group complete and without physical problems.
The absence of Julian Hamati in this group may somewhat affect the team, however, according to coach Karaj, even with the players it has, the group can do well and why not hope for victory.
Albania is currently in third place in the group, but a success against the Armenians could send them into second place and restore hopes that they can further qualify as one of the best second-place teams.
The chances are slim as the scores will be decided in the other groups as well. The Albania-Armenia duel will be played today at 19:00 at the Dhimitraq Goga Sports Palace. (A2 Televizion)
