The famous American actor, Michael Madsen, who became known for his collaborations with director Quentin Tarantino and for his unforgettable roles in some of the most acclaimed films of recent decades, has died at the age of 67. The news was confirmed by his publicist, Liz Rodriguez, who said that the actor suffered cardiac arrest and was found without signs of life in his Malibu home on Thursday morning, writes A2 CNN. Officials from the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department confirmed to CNN that Madsen was pronounced dead at 8:25 a.m. local time and that no criminal offense is suspected.

Michael Madsen was a well-known dramatic actor, best known for his performances in some of Tarantino's most popular films, including "Reservoir Dogs," "Kill Bill" and "Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood." With a cold look and a calm but often menacing demeanor, he created some of the most fearsome characters in modern cinema.

His screen career began in the early 1980s with roles on television, including the series “St. Elsewhere” in 1983. He then moved on to film, where he made his mark with his role in the film “Thelma & Louise” in 1991. 1992 marked the beginning of his collaboration with Tarantino, when Madsen played Mr. Blonde in “Reservoir Dogs,” a role that quickly elevated him to the pantheon of respected Hollywood actors.

During his career, he appeared in a number of action and western films, including “Wyatt Earp” (1994), “Donnie Brasco” (1997), “Die Another Day” (2002), “Sin City” (2005) and “The Hateful Eight” (2015).

Off-screen, Madsen has experienced numerous personal and legal struggles. In 2019, he was arrested for drunk driving, and earlier, in 2012, he had a violent incident with his teenage son. In 2022, tragedy struck his life when his son Hudson Madsen committed suicide in Hawaii.

In previous interviews, Madsen has spoken openly about his struggles with fame and the effects it has had on his personal life. "Fame is not what it seems," he told The Independent in 2020. "I'm not complaining, because I've had a wonderful life. But if you're not protected, it can destroy you."

Madsen was still active and creative until the end. He had 18 projects in development, including the films “Resurrection Road,” “Concessions” and “Cookbook for Southern Housewives.” He was also set to appear in the comedy “Saturday at the Starlight” and the film “Oldfellas,” a story about elderly mobsters in a retirement home.

In addition to film projects, Madsen was also preparing to publish a book of poetry and personal reflections, titled Tears for My Father: Outlaw Thoughts and Poems. (A2 Televizion)
