The internationally renowned Albanian singer, Ermal Meta, has shown a special side of his private life in an interview for "Vanity Fair", touching the hearts of many people.
In addition to his little daughter, Fortuna Marie, born in June 2024 from his relationship with his partner Chiara, Ermal Meta has revealed that he has been a father for three years to two Albanian teenagers, who until now have lived in an orphanage in Albania. "We met them when they were 15 years old, but because we are not married, we could not adopt them. Now that they are about to turn 18, they will come to live with us. For us, they have been our daughters for three years," he confessed.
Meta met the girls through his volunteer work at an orphanage in Albania, which houses girls with painful stories. His bond with them grew so strong that after spending holidays together, he realized he couldn't live without them.
With great emotion, the singer shared that after the girls left, he felt a huge void: "I started crying like a child and couldn't stop," he said.
Today, the girls have graduated from high school and will soon join their new family in Italy, where lots of love and a warm home await them. (A2 Televizion)
