Interior Minister Pance Toshkovski announced that a police officer was among the victims of the Koca nightclub tragedy. According to him, the officer was on duty and under control for drug use.
He stated that the number of victims from the tragedy in Kocani has reached 59, while the number of injured has increased to 155. But in a statement to A2 CNN, Deputy Prime Minister of North Macedonia Arben Fetai stated that the number of victims has increased to 60.
Toshkovski was very restrained in his statement, arguing that investigations are ongoing and that he does not want to harm the process.
