New details have emerged from the tragedy that killed 51 people at a nightclub in North Macedonia. A2 CNN journalist Tomorr Avdia, who is at the scene, reports that the discotheque in Kocani had been operating for a year without a license.
"It is learned that the "Puls" discotheque in Koçan, where 51 people lost their lives in a fire, has not had a license issued by the Ministry of Economy and Labor for a year. The last license was issued on 13.03.2023, with a 1-year term. The discotheque has been privately owned, the owners of which have changed several times," reports the A2 CNN journalist.
According to the document provided, the owner had a license until March 24 of last year.
Meanwhile, the police have arrested several people, including the owner of the bar.
