Tragedy in North Macedonia, Speaker of Parliament calls on authorities to shed light on the incident

The Speaker of the Parliament of North Macedonia, Afrim Gashi, has expressed condolences to the families of the victims who lost their lives as a result of the fire that broke out in Kocani in the early hours of this morning. In a post on Facebook, he called on the responsible authorities to work diligently to solve the incident.

"With deep sorrow I received the news of the serious tragedy in Kocani, where the fire outbreak took the lives of over 50 people and left dozens of others injured. On my personal behalf and on behalf of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, I express my most sincere condolences to the families of the victims. I invite the relevant authorities to engage with dedication in fully clarifying the case, while we fully stand in solidarity with those who are going through these difficult moments. Our prayers and thoughts are with all those affected by this tragedy," said Gashi. (A2 Televizion)
