Biden diagnosed with cancer, Trump wishes him a speedy recovery

Following the news of former US President Joe Biden's diagnosis with prostate cancer, White House President Donald Trump has also reacted. In a post on social media, he wishes his former rival a speedy recovery.

"Melania and I are saddened by Joe Biden's recent medical diagnosis. Our sincere thoughts go out to Jill and the family, and we wish Joe a speedy and full recovery," Trump wrote on his Truth social network, writes A2 CNN.

Former US President Joe Biden, 82, has been diagnosed with prostate cancer that has spread to his bones, his office announced on Sunday. Biden, who left office in January, was diagnosed on Friday after visiting a doctor last week for urinary symptoms, A2 CNN reports.

The cancer is a more aggressive form of the disease, characterized by a Gleason score of 9 out of 10. This means his disease is classified as "high-grade" and the cancer cells can spread quickly.

"Although this represents a more aggressive form of the disease, the cancer appears to be hormone-sensitive, which allows for effective management," his office said.

Meanwhile, Biden and his family are evaluating treatment options with his doctors. (A2 Televizion)
