The president-elect of the USA, through the X social network, has said that the war in Ukraine must end as soon as possible.
According to him, Russia released Syria because of its losses in Ukraine, which amount to 600 thousand soldiers. He says President Zelensky welcomes a deal to end this madness.
"There must be an immediate ceasefire and start of negotiations. Many lives have been lost. I know Vladimir Putin well. This is his time to react. China must help", concludes his message on X, Donald Trump.
The reaction of the Kremlin was immediate, through the spokesman Dimitri Peskov. According to him, the negotiations should be based on the Istanbul agreement of 2022 and the current reality of the battlefield. Peskov says that Ukraine is the one that has stopped talks with the leadership of Russia because of the decree issued by Zelensky.
During the inauguration of Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, President Zelensky had a meeting with Donald Trump and French President Emmanuel Macron. The meeting lasted about 20 minutes, and at the end of it, Zelensky called it good and productive. (A2 Televizion)
