Former United Nations inspector and nuclear physicist David Albright has stated that Iran's underground nuclear facility, Fordo, is located 80 meters underground and is "very difficult to destroy."
Speaking to BBC Radio 5 Live, Albright said that experience from inspections in Iraq helped the International Atomic Energy Agency develop "extremely advanced methods for investigating secret programs," writes A2 CNN.
He added: "Now that Israel has started the strikes, I believe Israel can put that facility out of action for a long time. The United States can completely destroy it."
Albright, founder of the Institute for Science and International Security in Washington, stressed that Fordow is just "one of the most fortified facilities" of the Iranian nuclear program, but not the only one. (A2 Televizion)
