Four dead and 20 injured (16 hospitalized) is the toll of an attack launched overnight by Russian armed forces in Kiev.
Numerous drones hit various neighborhoods of the capital, damaging residential buildings and infrastructure, while electricity was cut off in several neighborhoods.
Many citizens took shelter in shelters, A2 CNN reports. Russian cruise missiles were also reported flying westward over the regions of Kiev, Vinnytsia, Khmelnytsia, Lviv and Ternopil. On the Russian side, seven drones were shot down while flying towards Moscow, while another aircraft set fire to a business in Engels, Saratov region.
"One person was killed in the capital as a result of an enemy attack. According to the latest data provided by doctors, 20 people have been injured so far. 16 of them are hospitalized," Kiev Mayor Vitali Klitschko wrote on Telegram after the massive drone attack, A2 CNN reports.
