Today, US President Donald Trump hosted German Chancellor Friedrich Merz at the White House.
According to foreign media, the German Chancellor said after the meeting that he was "extremely satisfied" with the talks, adding that they laid the foundation for good conversations at future G7 and NATO summits.
"I'm returning with the feeling that I have found in the American President someone with whom I can speak very well on a personal level," he said, writes A2 CNN.
"We have a lot in common, even in the different career paths we have followed in politics. This creates a certain connection," concluded Chancellor Merz. (A2 Televizion)
