Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has described the ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israel as a "hopeful development".
He emphasized Turkey's role in mediating the process and expressed hope that the people of Gaza would be able to "breathe more freely" during the ceasefire period.
However, Erdogan warned that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has a long history of violating ceasefire agreements.
He appealed for continued pressure on Israel and said everyone must contribute to preventing a return to previous violence in Gaza. (A2 Televizion)
