A serious accident has occurred at a resort in Astún, Spain, where the rupture of a cable car cabin left 17 people injured.
According to reports, a woman is in critical condition and has been transported by helicopter to a nearby hospital.
Four helicopters were deployed to evacuate the injured. Photos and videos from the scene suggest that a cable car cable was damaged, causing the accident.
Following the incident, the ski resort was closed, while Spain's Prime Minister, Pedro Sánchez, has contacted the governor of Aragon to coordinate government assistance. (A2 Televizion)
