Ford CEO Jim Farley told reporters earlier this month that he is optimistic Mr. Trump will be open to hearing their views on these issues.
"Given Ford's profile as an employer and the importance it has to the American economy and manufacturing, I think the administration will be very interested in hearing our views ," said Director Farley.
Other major companies, such as Amazon and the Meta platform, have also donated to Mr Trump's inauguration.
