Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis announced at the last government meeting that the minimum wage in Greece will increase from 830 euros to 880 euros, with the aim of reaching 950 euros by the end of his four-year term.
Among other things, the Greek leader emphasized that the decline in unemployment is the result of policies to create new jobs.
"The annual net profit for workers will now be equivalent to almost an additional monthly salary compared to last year," Mitsotakis said.
This decision marks the fifth minimum wage increase since 2019 and is expected to affect around 600,000 workers. (A2 Televizion)
