An earthquake measuring 4.7 on the Richter scale struck Greece on Saturday evening.
According to the Geodynamic Institute, the epicenter of the earthquake was 12 kilometers west-northwest of the city of Karyas, with a focal depth of 12 kilometers.
Seismic tremors were also felt in the city of Thessaloniki, causing concern among residents of the area.
Fortunately, there have been no reports of major damage or casualties so far. Greek authorities are monitoring the situation and are on alert for any possible aftershocks. (A2 Televizion)
