Thousands of Madrid citizens took to the streets and protested violently last night after Pedro Sanchez's Socialists signed a deal with Catalan separatists to retain power.
The protest had great moments of tension and it took the intervention of the police forces to avoid its escalation.
The Socialist Party was voted last night in the Assembly after the agreements reached with many small regional parties.
One of the points that the protesters objected to was the amnesty that was promised to the Junts party for the release of the leaders involved in the organization of the referendum on the independence of Catalonia in 2017. (A2 Televizion)
