The German Defense Minister says Russian President Vladimir Putin's agreement to stop attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure counts for "nothing."
According to foreign media, in a phone call with Trump on Tuesday, Putin said that Russia would stop attacks on energy infrastructure for 30 days, but rejected a complete and immediate ceasefire with Ukraine.
"The attacks on civilian infrastructure on the first night after this supposedly important and major phone call have not subsided," Boris Pistorius told German broadcaster ZDF, A2 CNN writes.
"Putin is playing a game here and I'm sure the American president won't be able to sit back and watch this," he added.
We recall that today the US announced that peace talks for Ukraine will continue in Saudi Arabia on Sunday, while additional details about these discussions are still unknown. (A2 Televizion)
