Former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has mocked Ukraine after the phone call between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin.
According to foreign media, Medvedev, a key Putin ally who is also deputy chairman of Russia's Security Council, said the conversation showed that only Moscow and Washington are "in the dining room."
Then he talked about the menu: "Light appetizers - Brussels sprouts, British fish and chips, and Paris rooster. The main course is a Kiev-style cutlet. Enjoy your meal!"
Recall that Medvedev's use of the Russian spelling of Kiev in his post on the 'X' network is intentional. "Kiev" is now associated with the Russification of Ukraine.
In recent years and especially since the full invasion of Ukraine in 2022, foreign governments, publications, and airports have switched to the Ukrainian spelling of Kyiv. (A2 Televizion)
