More details have emerged about the Russian attack on the Ukrainian city of Sumy yesterday.
According to foreign media, the Russian Ministry of Defense claimed that the attack targeted a meeting of the command staff of the "Siversk" operational-tactical group.
Despite Ukraine reporting that the number of people killed in the attack was 34, the Russian Defense Ministry said it killed "more than 60" servicemen of the Ukrainian armed forces, writes A2 CNN.
The Defense Ministry also accused Ukraine of using civilians as "human shields," saying Kiev "holds events with the participation of military personnel" in the middle of densely populated cities.
