China has vowed to defend its 'national interests' against US sanctions, as Donald Trump plans to impose tariff hikes on China, Mexico and Canada as part of his strategy to combat the flow of illegal drugs, including fentanyl, into the US.
The spokesperson for the Chinese Foreign Ministry said in a statement to the media that no one will be able to win from the trade war with China, writes A2 CNN.
"On this issue, we have repeatedly expressed China's position. We always believe that there are no winners in trade wars and tit-for-tats."
