In addition to the severe earthquake that hit Myanmar, the country is facing continuous airstrikes by the military junta.
The BBC has been sent images of damaged buildings in the village of Naung Lin, Shan State, where Myanmar junta fighters reportedly dropped bombs on Friday evening.
Myanmar's military junta has continued to bomb parts of the war-torn country after a major earthquake there, which killed more than 1,600 people.
The UN has described the attacks as "completely barbaric and unacceptable," writes A2 CNN.
Special Rapporteur Tom Andrews told the BBC that it was "nothing short of incredible" that the military was continuing to "drop bombs when you're trying to save people" after the earthquake.
He called on the military regime, which seized power in a coup nearly four years ago, to halt all military operations.
"Anyone who has influence in the military needs to increase the pressure and make it very clear that this is not acceptable," he said, writes A2 CNN.
"I call on the junta to simply stop, to halt any of its military operations," he added, writes A2 CNN.
Pro-democracy rebel groups fighting to oust the military have reported air strikes on Chang-U township in northwestern Sagaing region, the epicenter of the earthquake. There are also reports of airstrikes in areas near the Thai border. (A2 Televizion)
