Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy revealed today that he would hold a telephone conversation with his American counterpart Donald Trump.
Addressing the media in Helsinki, Zelensky said he would "discuss the details" of Donald Trump's phone call with Vladimir Putin yesterday evening.
The phone call will be Zelensky and Trump's first direct contact since their fiery clash in the Oval Office last month, writes A2 CNN.
The Ukrainian was in Washington expecting to sign a critical minerals deal, but left early after he and Trump clashed in front of cameras from around the world.
We recall that yesterday Trump held a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, where they agreed on several points, one of which was the cessation of Russian attacks on Kiev's energy infrastructure. (A2 Televizion)
