
Two people have lost their lives and six others have been injured as a result of Russian rocket attacks during the night in the two eastern regions of Ukraine, Donetsk and Kharkiv. According to Ukrainian officials, the targets of the attacks were a hospital in the town of Selidove and a coal mine.
"Two hospital buildings were damaged, six civilians were injured. There may be victims under the rubble, search operations are continuing. A coal mine worker was killed during the attack. Four buildings, 19 vehicles and a power line were damaged. Thirty-nine miners were trapped underground. All the miners have been brought to the surface now," Ukrainian Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko wrote on Telegram.
Another person was killed as a result of Russian shelling in Kharkiv, said the governor of this region, Oleh Synehubov.
Russia, which launched a full-scale and unprovoked invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, has seized most of the territory of Donetsk and has said it aims to capture the entire region. (A2 Televizion)
