Five people have been shot at a school in Sweden, police say. The incident happened on Tuesday in Örebro, about 200 km west of Stockholm, just before 1:00 p.m. local time.
Police have not yet confirmed the condition of the injured. Residents have been advised to stay away from the area. Authorities are treating the incident as an attempted murder, arson and a serious violation of weapons laws.
The attack took place at an adult education center, known as Komvux, which is frequented by people who have not completed primary or secondary education. For security reasons, students from nearby schools have been ordered to stay inside their premises. The investigation is ongoing and police have not yet released details about the suspects.
