Horror in France. A 32-year-old man was found dead, his throat cut and naked, near Amiens, in the north of the country. This was reported by police sources, quoted by Agence France Presse. A hiker made the macabre discovery in an outdoor sports area in Pont-de-Metz.
The crime scene was completely closed to the public and the media. The body was found with its throat cut, its abdomen opened, its intestines removed and, above all, arranged in the shape of a cross, confirmed to the media the mayor of Pont-de-Metz, Loic Bulant.
Officers were "very shocked by what they discovered the victim is originally from Amiens," sources told local media.
According to the mayor, the park where the tragedy occurred is usually a quiet place, where "children can play, spend their days and have family picnics." In Pont-de-Metz, "we have never had any problems," confirmed resident Florian Hollemaert, 36, who was walking in the area with his son.
Shocked by what happened, he says he has no intention of returning to that area, at least "for a while." (A2 Televizion)
