The Constitutional Court of Kosovo has been admitted as a full member of the Conference of European Constitutional Courts, 13 years after its application in 2011. This decision marks a historic moment for Kosovo and its constitutional system, fully integrating it into the European network of constitutional courts.
Kosovo's admission to the CECC was confirmed during the Preparatory Meeting of the Circle of Presidents of the 20th Congress of the Conference of European Constitutional Courts, which was held on 28 February 2025 in Tirana. This meeting was organized within the framework of the Presidency of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Albania as the presiding court of the CECC for the period 2024-2027 and as the organizer of the 20th Congress of this Conference, which will be held in May 2027.
This event was attended by Presidents and representatives from 32 constitutional courts present and members of the CECC. (A2 Televizion)
