BIRN report: Kosovo has made progress in combating terrorism

BIRN publishes a report presenting Kosovo's commitment to preventing and combating terrorism. The Minister of Justice, Albulena Haxhiu, emphasized "good cooperation with relevant institutions and commitment to an effective and sustainable justice system supported by international partners."

Meanwhile, the Director of the Department of Public Security at the Ministry of Interior, Mensur Hoti, emphasized the importance of involving civil society in the evaluation of strategies for the prevention of terrorism and other actors.

While the author of this report, Labinot Leposhtica, said "that the state of Kosovo has chosen a comprehensive approach, not limited to the prosecution, investigation, trial, and imprisonment of these persons. In conclusion of this report, it is stated that only with the work and commitment of all actors will it be possible to combat any extremism and prevent terrorist acts. (A2 Televizion)
