US soldiers assigned to the KFOR Regional Command East have conducted weapons qualification training with M240 and M249 machine guns at the Bobaj te Bokes range, in the Gjakova municipality. The announcement came from the NATO peacekeeping mission in Kosovo.
"Training and proficiency of soldiers in various weapons systems is essential for the overall readiness of KFOR troops," the announcement said.
KFOR said these efforts are “ part of the daily mission to guarantee a safe and secure environment for all communities living in Kosovo .”
KFOR further added that as usual it continues to implement its mandate to contribute to a safe and secure environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo and to freedom of movement, at all times and in an impartial manner. (A2 Televizion)
