The Electoral Complaints and Appeals Panel (ECAP) has fined the Vetevendosje Movement 39,500 euros and the Democratic League of Kosovo 9,500 euros for violating the Code of Conduct during the election campaign, according to a January 29 decision.
According to the decision, the LVV received the most severe punishment due to the statements of Foreign Minister Donika Gërvalla, who, during a rally in Deçan, called AAK leader Ramush Haradinaj a "self-proclaimed general."
For this, LVV was fined 10 thousand euros.
The ECAP has also fined the Democratic League of Kosovo 4 thousand euros for placing posters of candidates for MPs on public roads in Peja. In addition to this amount, for placing posters in public spaces and at the public traffic station in Pristina, the ECAP fined the LDK another 5 thousand 500 euros./ KosovaPress (A2 Televizion)
