A 59-year-old Serb has been arrested for war crimes against the civilian population of Kosovo. The Kosovo Police announces that he was arrested in Jarinje, on charges of war crimes against the civilian population committed during 1998-1999 in the municipality of Vushtrri.
The suspect has been sent to the police and is expected to be interrogated in the presence of the defense lawyer.

In the wake of the war crimes investigation, the Kosovo Police, in this case the Border Police Department in cooperation with the police investigators from the War Crimes Investigation Directorate, detained the male/Serb suspect (SN) year of birth 1964 in the municipality of Vushtrri, as a person suspected of war crimes.
The same was detained today, on 18.11.2023, in Jarinje, as he is suspected of the criminal offense "War crimes against the civilian population" committed during 1998-1999 in the municipality of Vushtrri.
The suspect has been sent to the police and is expected to be interviewed in the presence of the defense lawyer, where all further procedures will be undertaken in coordination with the justice bodies. (A2 Televizion)
