After a session that lasted for several hours, during which there were also fierce debates, the Assembly of Kosovo approved in principle the budget for 2024.
62 deputies who were in the hall voted in favor of this budget, while there was no vote against or abstention.
During the session, Prime Minister Kurti said that next year's budget will be focused on defense and security, as 370 million euros have been determined for these two sectors. He emphasized that three million euros have been planned for the Presheva Valley and 742 million for the municipalities of Kosovo.
The head of the executive stated that the budget will be larger than last year's, as there will be investments in road infrastructure and other areas.
The representatives of PDK, LDK and AAK did not support this draft budget, as according to them, it does not represent the interests of the citizens of Kosovo. (A2 Televizion)
