Lumir Abdixhiku is re-elected as the new chairman of the LDK, with 333 votes in favor, none against and no abstentions.
The Democratic League of Kosovo held the 10th election assembly, where no other candidate was accepted in front of the current president, Lumir Abdixhiku.
Former deputy Faton Bislimi claimed candidacy against Abdixik, but the 6 members of the presidency make it clear that he has no right as he is not an elected delegate.
He was denied the right to speak during the proceedings of the Assembly. Thus, during his speech at the election assembly, Abdixhiku highly honored the work of the founders of the party, remembering in particular the historical president Ibrahim Rugova.
Present in the hall were his son Ukë Rugova, and the former president, Fatmir Sejdiu. (A2 Televizion)
