LDK Chairman Lumir Abdixhiku said that his party will vote on the report of the Temporary Commission for the Verification of Mandates, as soon as the members of the Government - who have been elected MPs - resign.
He was asked about the resignation letter submitted to this commission by the incumbent Government. However, Abdixhiku did not accept this resignation, saying that Kurti and the other members say they have resigned, but according to him, they are continuing to work in the Government.
According to him, all of this is "part of a political game to delay the creation of institutions and buy time."
"It is a dark episode in parliamentary democracy where the winning party does not respect the basic rule that states that an elected official cannot be a minister, prime minister, or a member of parliament of Kosovo," said Abdixhiku.
