The US Embassy in Pristina has urged political leaders to respect the constitutional deadline for the constitution of the Assembly, noting that the Constitutional Court's 30-day deadline is approaching.
"We note that the Constitutional Court of Kosovo recommended the constitution of the Assembly within 30 days of its decision and that this date is approaching. In a response that this embassy sent to the Front Online media, according to this media, the statement states that: "It is the responsibility of political leaders to constitute the Assembly and form a stable government in accordance with the Constitution," the Embassy's response states.
The US reiterated its continued support for Kosovo's democratic development and expressed its readiness to cooperate with the future government.
