Djuric complains to Austria about Kosovo: Protect the rights of the Serbian

Kosovo was the topic of discussion between Serbian Foreign Minister Marko Djuric and Austrian Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Beate Meinl Reisinger, who was in Belgrade this Tuesday.

Speaking about the dialogue, Djuric said that he had asked the senior Austrian official to protect the rights of the Serbian people in northern Kosovo.

"We believe that it is important that the rights of the Serbian people in Kosovo are protected, that the agreements reached 10 or 12 years ago in Kosovo are implemented, and that Mr. Sorensen's mission, which has the task of contributing to the normalization of the situation, is supported. Serbia remains strongly committed to the dialogue process on the one hand and to the protection of the collective rights of the Serbian people on the territory of Kosovo," said Djuric.

He further added that he had informed the Austrian minister about the problems that arose as a result of Pristina's unilateral and uncoordinated actions and the increase in tensions in the north.  (A2 Televizion)
