The constitutive session of the new Kosovo Assembly, resulting from the February elections, has failed for the eighth time.
Albulena Haxhiu, the Vetëvendosje Movement's candidate for Speaker of the Parliament, has failed to obtain the necessary majority of 61 votes in Parliament to be elected head of this institution, writes A2 CNN.
The next session for the constitution of the Kosovo Assembly was scheduled for May 1 of this year. It remains to be seen whether Kurti will secure the necessary votes on this date to elect Haxhiu as head of the Assembly. (A2 Televizion)
