Russia has confirmed its support for its traditional ally in the Balkans, Serbia.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, during a meeting with his Serbian counterpart, Marko Djuric in Moscow, expressed his willingness to support Belgrade in protecting its legitimate interests, according to him, regarding Kosovo, writes A2.
"We will lobby for the Kosovo issue to be a priority in the Security Council. We are united with our Serbian friends on the issue of Resolution 1244, so that it fully maintains its importance," Lavrov stressed to his loyal ally in the Balkans. (A2 Televizion)
