The Embassy of the United States of America has welcomed the beginning of the election campaign in Kosovo.
The US embassy said it expects the parties to behave according to "strong democratic" traditions.
"Free, fair and transparent elections are the foundation of democracy and we expect all participants to respect the rule of law and democratic processes", the embassy's response states. (A2 Televizion)
