European Union Commissioner for Enlargement, Marta Kos, mentioned Kosovo while speaking to MEPs in the European Parliament's Foreign Policy Committee in Brussels on Tuesday.
She said that EU enlargement today is different from the way it was four or five years ago and that now "we have a new positive moment in the EU."
She spoke about Kosovo when asked by a member of the European Parliament what she expects from the elections.
"There will be elections there. I don't expect that we will be able to move before the elections, but after the elections we must move. Because we cannot talk about the Western Balkans region if we don't talk about the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina or separately about what Kosovo is doing and what Serbia is doing," Kos said.
