The leader of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Memli Krasniqi, declared that the leader of the LVV, Albin Kurti, will not propose Fatmir Limaj for parliamentary speaker.
According to him, the lack of transparency in the discussions between Kurti and Limaj is "a sign that something is wrong."
This is what Krasniqi said after the session was adjourned, where he said he does not believe Limaj will be a candidate for speaker of parliament, A2 writes.
"Have you seen him anywhere that he is a candidate? First of all, I never believe that he will be a candidate, because I have told him such a thing personally, Albin Kurti never nominates him, never proposes him. So on this topic, I believe that we will have no reason to discuss it, except hypothetically... The lack of transparency from both sides is a bit of a sign that something is wrong, I believe that it has to do with power appetites because I don't think they are negotiating the governing program to talk about how much salaries should increase or how much pensions should increase.
