Kurti extends hand to Abdixhiku for coalition, invites him to a meeting

After the failure of the 11th session of the Kosovo Assembly, Prime Minister Albin Kurti has sent a letter to the leader of the LDK, Ludmir Abdixhiku, about a governing coalition. In his letter, Kurti expresses his interest in a political agreement. According to him, despite the differences, the interests of the state and citizens must be put first, in order to avoid early elections. Kurti adds that there are no significant differences between the LDK and Vetëvendosje.

In this letter, Kurti admits that in addition to forming the government, he must also have 61 votes to elect the Speaker of the Assembly.

"As the chairman of the LVV and acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, I am interested and willing for a political agreement with the LDK. We certainly have differences in political beliefs and governing policies, but coalitions are made precisely between those who have differences, placing the rights and needs of the state and citizens as a priority," Kurti's letter states.

At the end of the letter, Kurti invites Abdixhiku to meet and talk about the future of the state.

We recall that so far, LDK has rejected every invitation from Vetëvendosje.
