According to the preliminary results of the Central Election Commission, the Vetëvendosje Movement has increased, reaching 40.97% of the votes.
The Democratic Party of Kosovo won 22.47%, while the Democratic League of Kosovo fell to 17.14%. The Alliance for the Future of Kosovo also recorded a decline, receiving 7.44% of the vote.
With 92% of polling stations processed, it results that LVV will continue to have 47 MPs, PDK will increase by one MP, reaching 26, LDK will drop by one mandate, remaining with 19, while AAK will continue with 8 MPs.
In the ninth legislature, the Social Democratic Initiative will be represented by three MPs: Fatmir Limaj, Arbresha Krasniqi and Xhevahire Izmaku.
The chairman of Nisma, Fatmir Limaj, has called for cooperation between political parties to avoid a government crisis after the elections.
He emphasized that Nisma and AAK are separate parties, but did not rule out the possibility of a possible partnership after the elections.
