Lista Serbia has remained out of the running for the February 9 parliamentary elections, as the Central Election Commission did not certify it. The reason for this decision was the provocative language towards the state used by the leader of the largest political force of the Serbs, who refers to the country as "Kosovo and Metohija".
Two members of the CEC from the Vetëvendosje Movement expressed their position against the certification of the Serbian List, bringing to attention the fact that this party does not recognize or accept the existence of the state of Kosovo. However, the Ministry of the Interior did not issue any remarks against this political force of the Serbs in Kosovo.
Only the chairman of the CEC, Kreshnik Radoniqi, voted in favor of the certification, members of Vetëvendosje were against, while others abstained. At today's meeting, the list of candidates for deputies of the coalition of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo with the Social Democratic Initiative was certified. (A2 Televizion)
