The Secretary General of NATO, Jens Stoltenberg, confirmed that the meeting of foreign ministers of the alliance will discuss, among other things, the reaction to Russia's destabilizing activities in the Western Balkans. The increase in the permanent presence of KFOR troops in Kosovo will also be assessed.
"We will also address the situation in the Western Balkans. We have seen serious violence in the north of Kosovo; divisive and divisive rhetoric in Bosnia-Herzegovina; and malicious efforts to sow instability, including by Russia. Together with the High Representative of the EU we will discuss ways to increase stability in the region. NATO has already added 1,000 additional troops to Kosovo. And we are considering a more sustained increase in our peacekeeping contingent. Belgrade and Prishtina should re-engage in the EU-facilitated dialogue. Stability depends on all parties choosing dialogue and diplomacy instead of conflict and chaos," Stoltenberg said. (A2 Televizion)
