Meeting with Stoltenberg, Osmani accuses: Serbia brought Russian planes inside

President Vjosa Osmani asked for a quick membership in NATO, while mentioning numerous cases of threats coming from Serbia. Osmani made these statements after the meeting he had with the Secretary General of NATO, Jens Stoltenberg.

"In an extremely challenging time for security in general, Kosovo is a new path and the democratic freedom of Kosovo is also the result of NATO's support. At the same time, we are grateful for the NATO soldiers even though this peace has been and continues to be violated by Serbia. Data from official investigations confirm that Serbia is behind this attack. In order not to allow the repetition of such an act, Serbia must be held responsible. Serbia remained a constant threat to the region. The Kosovo Police and NATO are on one side, the terrorists are on the other. The Republic of Kosovo is a partner you can always count on. (…)"These three become together, it is very clear that it is in Russia's interest to open a front against the West. And of course he wants to open this front in parts of Europe that are not yet part of NATO. Therefore, this makes our membership in NATO even more imperative", said Osmani.

Osmani emphasized that Kosovo's membership in NATO is a strategic goal.

"Membership in the strongest alliance in the world is a strategic, existential and primary goal of the state of Kosovo. Prolonging the process of Kosovo's membership in this alliance would produce great consequences for security in the entire European continent", added Osmani. (A2 Televizion)
