The Tirana Prosecutor's Office has completed the investigations and is sending former president Nikoll Deda and vice president of the Order of Dentists Aurela Guri to trial. They are accused of three criminal offenses, 'Theft committed by abuse of office', 'Abuse of office' and 'Actions in violation of the court's decision'.
The complaint to the Prosecutor's Office was made for abuse of the Order's funds by Almiro Gurakuqi, the current President of the Order of Dentists. The investigations revealed that Nikoll Deda, when he was President of the Order of Dentists, employed his family members with the aim of manipulating the decision-making of the National Council from 2016.
The Vice President of the Order is also accused of violating the law by making financial decisions for the 2024 budget of the Order of Dentists, without having any qualifications. (A2 Televizion)
