Should we ask for salary in a job interview? Experts reveal the secrets to

How should we approach a job interview? What should we wear, or ask? These questions were answered in "Dita Jonë" by two employment experts, Helena Halilaj and Eljana Mete. For the latter, the truthfulness of information, body language, attitude and clothing are important in a job interview.

"CVs are not that well prepared, foreign languages and training are not included. That's what career counseling is for. Truthfulness is very important. First, you need to be informed about the company. Secondly, body language, you need to be very informed about "body language". According to studies, only 7% is important in what the applicant says, the rest is the way they enter the door, the way they shake hands, the way they stand in the chair", says expert Metaj.

While Halilaj excludes high heels during a job interview for girls, he mentions exaggerated cases on A2 CNN.

"There are some companies that are very sporty. There are cases where the girls are too curated. More than necessary. You can't go to a job interview with high heels. High heels are excluded. They shouldn't make the mistake of making detailed descriptions on their CVs. There are cases of exaggeration of nails and eyelashes. There are cases where they come in club clothes that don't give you comfort at work and the first impact with the employer is very important."

But should we ask about salary during a job interview? Expert Halilaj says that we should ask about salary as there have been many cases of abuse of contracts.

"After the presentation is the payment part, but a good part of Albanians, out of fear of not getting a job, often do not ask about bonuses. I'm talking about private administration. There are cases where there is a terrible abuse of contracts. Now there is a kind of awareness, but it has to do with contracts. There have been cases where insurance payments have not been made and they have been taken out on the street in the ugliest and not at all legal way. This has been a major concern in the formulation of contracts. The employee must also understand that he has responsibilities in a company. We must ask and ask for the salary to go to him to be paid, you are not a volunteer. But the emotional part must be excluded," he told A2 CNN.

The question about expert Metaj's salary should be asked with great professionalism.

For professor Halilaj, nepotism is very present in our country, not only in state institutions but also in private ones.

"Resistance and stability are not dominant for another, better job. It is natural for Europeans to stay in one job for 5 years and then move. Desperately in Albania, nepotism and networking in state and private institutions are public. They do not consult on what are the dominant elements to win."
